Teri S. Banerjee, President and Founder

Ms. Banerjee graduated Cum Laude from Framingham State College with a combined degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. She also holds a Master of Science in Education from SUNY and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ithaca College. She has had a variety of experiences in the education and computer worlds.

In the latter half of the 1970's, Ms. Banerjee was a public school teacher in the Natick Public Schools in Massachusetts. Following that experience came several positions in businesses, working as administrator and accountant. Ms. Banerjee then moved into computer science in 1987, working as a software engineer for firms such as Prime Computer.

In 1992, Ms. Banerjee began teaching at Framingham State College where she has taught all aspects of computer science, from theoretical foundations to use of applications such as Word, Excel and Access, Word Perfect, Lotus and Internet.

Active Computer was founded in 1991 to bring computer training and services on a more individual level to computer users in the Metropolitan Boston and Metro West areas of Massachusetts. Ms. Banerjee continues to serve at Framingham State College as well.
